WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS

Make your Wednesdays wonderful!  Whether you like to sing in the shower, car or once sang at school and would like to give it another go, we'd love you to join us.  Don't worry if you're feeling apprehensive, you're sure to have a warm welcome from the MCC family.

FAQs

  • Will I need to audition?
    There are no auditions, just come along and sing.

 

  • I don't read music, is this a problem?
    We supply sheet music within your subscription, however you don't need to be able to read music.  After a while you'll probably find you can follow the notes to help you know when the music goes up or down.

  • Do I have to take part in concerts?
    You can choose to be involved as little or as much as you want. Some of our members attend just the rehearsals, choosing not to be in the performances.
     

  • Can I become more involved?
    If you like you can become part of the smaller ensemble group and learn additional songs, or choose to perform solos or duets.
     

  • When do you meet?
    We meet on Wednesday evenings during term time from 7.30pm - 9.30pm, at     the Methodist Hall, 65 North St, Midhurst, GU29 9DR.
     

  • How much does it cost?
    Your first taster session is free.  If you like us, and we like to think that you will, there are several options for joining.  NB. Our terms run in line with the school terms.

Please note, in order to ensure the choir is sustainable, subscription costs will be raised slightly from April 2024.  We remain significantly more affordable than other similar choirs.  It is also possible to pay by standing order on a monthly basis, rather than by term.  Please see our Membership Form for details.
